For some shipping methods, it is possible to mark the shipping label as "gift." If the shipping method allows this, it can be specified on the charge 2 payment page.  Please note that changes or cancellations of the shipping group cannot be made after charge 2 payment, so please make sure to make your selection on the charge 2 payment page.

By default, we will decide the item description and HS code that will be shown on the documents we send with your item.  But should you wish to request a specific description or HS code, please contact the Customer Service after the item has arrived at our warehouse but before finalizing your shipping instructions, in order to provide us with a complete description of your items in the following format: Example: s1087535079: Books, HS Code Important notes for HS Code change requests: Please do not use commas, special characters, or other separators in the main description. Only the HS code should be separated by a comma. Additional descriptions may be added by our warehouse staff if necessary. If there is any information that absolutely must not appear, please let us know before paying Charge 2. To avoid errors caused by manual entry, please limit your request to a maximum of 10 item IDs per message. There should be a space between the colon (:) and the description, and the colon should be placed directly after the ID (with no space between the ID and the colon). The full description must not exceed 40 characters, including the ID (or auction number), the colon, and the space after it. This is to ensure it prints correctly on the shipping invoice. Please make sure that the description is accurate and matches the actual item. * Do not submit your shipping instructions until the changes have been confirmed by our team. As a general rule, we also ask you to contact us one final time to confirm the description before paying the Charge 2 invoice.

Regarding international shipping, items must go through both export and import procedures before arriving in the destination country. First, an export inspection is conducted by Japanese customs. For a list of commonly prohibited items for international shipment, please refer to the page here. Once an item passes the export inspection, it will be shipped. However, please note that customs regulations and import laws vary by country, and in some cases, import may not be permitted. To confirm whether your purchased item can be imported, please check with the customs authority in your country or conduct an online search. Malaysia: Adult-related items are not permitted for import. Indonesia: Used items cannot be imported without an import license.

Any VAT or other such consumption taxes imposed by the destination country must be paid by the customer upon delivery. When shipping packages to certain countries such as Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and New Zealand, you may be required to prepay VAT, such as GST or SST during Charge 2. In such cases, FROM JAPAN pays the VAT on your behalf, so in principle, you do not need to pay VAT again when the package arrives in the destination country. However, in rare cases, the selected shipping carrier or local customs may request VAT payment again. If this happens, we kindly ask that you make the payment first. Once the product has been shipped from our logistics center and arrives in the destination country, customs clearance will be carried out as part of the import procedures. If there is no change in the customs clearance status for several days or more, there may be a delay or an issue. As we are not affiliated with customs authorities in each country, we are unable to provide detailed support for customs procedures. However, the handling may differ depending on the chosen shipping method. Japan Post Japan Post is responsible for shipping within Japan and up to the point of departure FROM JAPAN. Once the package arrives in the destination country, customs clearance and delivery will be handled by the local postal service. Therefore, for inquiries regarding customs clearance, please have your tracking number ready and contact the local customs office or postal service directly. FedEx/ DHL/ UPS/ECMS These shipping carriers have local offices or branches in many countries. They may contact the recipient directly or provide instructions to us (the sender) if any action is required. If you do not receive any contact from the shipping carrier, we recommend reaching out to the local customer support of the respective carrier directly, with your tracking number on hand. ⚠️ Please note that regardless of whether your package was shipped under DDP or DDU terms (see here), any documentation requested by your local customs office for import clearance must be provided by the importer.
