Rakuten Rakuma automatically provides a free authentication service for certain eligible products. 

Because of this, the delivery process from the seller differs from that of regular products.

Differences to regular process without authentification service

• Regular process: After purchase, the item is delivered directly to our Tokyo distrubution center.
• Process with authentication: After purchase, the item sent to an authentication service. After authentication, the item is sent to our Tokyo distrubution center

* If the product is determined to be counterfeit, the order will be canceled, and you will receive a refund.

* The authentication service does not provide product images.

* The authentication service itself is free, and no additional shipping fees or service charges apply.

Estimated item arrival time

Authentication takes approximately 1 to 3 days. In total, it may take up to two weeks for the product to arrive at our distrubution center after purchase.

* The timeline may vary depending on the seller's shipping schedule.

How to Check if an item will be selected for authentication

• Currently, we are unable to display on the From Japan item page whether an item will be subject to authentication. 
• However, if you check the original item page, if you can see the characters 鑑定を経由してお届けしま, this means that the item is eligible for item authentication.

Other Notes

• You cannot request or opt out of the authentication service. The eligibility criteria follow Rakuten Rakuma’s regulations.
• Products from official shops are not subject to authentication.
