Price Negotiations in combination with From Japan Discounts & Coupons
Last Updated:
Price negotiations are accepted only for items listed on the flea market sites with a displayed price of 10,000 JPY or more.
Should any price negotiation be successful, any FJ coupons or discounts will be applied to the negotiated item price, and not the original (pre-negotiation) item price.
For example see the case below:
Item price (as shown on flea market) | 10,500 yen |
From Japan Coupon amount | 500 yen OFF |
From Japan Discount Campaign | 5% OFF |
Price negotiation amount | 10% reduction |
In the above case, lets see what happens if the negotiation is successful, how the coupon and campaign discount will be applied:
10,500 yen x 10% OFF = 9,450 yen (10% price negotiation)
9,450 yen x 5% OFF = 8,978 yen (apply the discount campaign reduction)
8,978 yen - 500 yen = 8,478 yen (apply the coupon discount reduction)
Final price (charge 1 value) = 8,478 yen
* From Japan campaign discounts are applied directly in the cart.
* Coupons must be used at the time of Charge 1 payment; they cannot be applied after payment.
* Multiple coupons cannot be used together.
* Charge 1 payment for the full amount must be completed in advance before we can proceed to negotiate price with the seller.
