My Mercari Order Has Not Shipped Yet. What Should I Do?

If several days have passed since your Mercari order was purchased and the item has not yet arrived at our warehouse, please first check the seller’s estimated shipping timeframe before contacting us.
In many cases, the seller is still processing the shipment within the timeframe they set. If the order is still within the estimated shipping timeframe, please rest assured and wait for the item to arrive.
How to Check the Seller's Shipping Timeframe
1. Open the Mercari item page.
2. Scroll down to the 商品の情報 (Item Information) section.
3. Check the following fields:

1. 発送元の地域 (Shipping Location)
This indicates the area from which the seller will ship the item.
Domestic delivery times within Japan may vary depending on the distance between the seller and our warehouse.
For example, shipments from Hokkaido or Okinawa may take longer to arrive than shipments from Tokyo or nearby prefectures.
2. 発送までの日数 (Estimated Shipping Timeframe)
This indicates how many days the seller expects to take before shipping the item.
Examples:
1~2日で発送 → Seller expects to ship within 1–2 days
2~3日で発送 → Seller expects to ship within 2–3 days
4~7日で発送 → Seller expects to ship within 4–7 days
Please count from the date the order was successfully purchased.
How Long Does Domestic Delivery Take?
After the seller ships the item, domestic delivery within Japan usually takes the following amount of time:

Please note that weather conditions, weekends, holidays, and carrier delays may affect delivery times.
Other Things to Check
Before requesting a shipping status check, please also confirm the following:
The item is not a made-to-order or custom-made item.
The item description does not mention additional handling or preparation time.
The seller has not posted any shipping delays in their profile or item description.
Before Contacting Support
Before requesting a shipping status check, we recommend allowing:
The seller's advertised shipping timeframe;
An additional 1–2 days of flexibility; and
Domestic delivery time within Japan after the item has been shipped.
Example:
If the listing states 2~3日で発送, we recommend allowing approximately 4–5 days before requesting a shipping status check.
When Should I Contact FROM JAPAN?
Please contact us through the inquiry form if all of the following apply:
The seller's estimated shipping timeframe has passed;
An additional 1–2 days have passed; and
The item has still not arrived at our warehouse,
After confirming the above, if the item still has not arrived at our warehouse, our purchasing staff can check the shipping status with the seller.
