I paid with deposit—why wasn't the refund returned there?

Last Updated:

Each time you place a deposit into your account, it is treated as a separate transaction.

If you use the full deposit amount to pay for an order and that order is later canceled or refunded, the refund will be returned to the original payment method used to place the deposit.

If you would prefer the refund to be returned to your deposit balance, you’ll need to ensure that only part of the deposit is used for the order.

Example:

Let’s say you have a ¥10,000 deposit and want to pay for a ¥10,000 order.

Instead of using the exact ¥10,000 deposit, add a deposit of ¥20,000, and use only ¥10,000 for the payment.

If the order is canceled, the refund will return to your deposit balance, not the original payment method.
