Can I cancel my order?

FROM JAPAN has implemented an automated ordering system on some of our sites to expedite ordering. Therefore, we generally cannot accept cancellations after bidding, winning or payment is completed. However, cancellations may be possible under certain circumstances.
1. When Cancellations Are Not Accepted
As a general rule, we cannot accept cancellations due to the member's circumstances in the following cases:
- After bidding on an auction
- After payment for the item price (Charge 1) is completed
- After we have completed the purchase procedure with the seller or store
Once any of the above steps are reached, the transaction is considered complete.
2. Timing for Determining a Cancellation
The possibility of cancellation is determined based on the transaction status at the time our customer service team reviews your request.
Therefore, even if the item has not been purchased when you contact us to request cancellation, if the purchase procedure has been completed by the time we review your request, we may not be able to accept a cancellation.
3. Exceptional Cases in Which Cancellations Are Considered
In exceptional cases, due to unavoidable circumstances that meet our review criteria, and only with the seller's consent, may we accept a cancellation even after the purchase procedure is completed.
However, the seller's consent is required, and we cannot guarantee that a cancellation will be approved.
4. Fees in Exceptional Cases Where a Cancellation is Approved
(1) Cancellation Handling Fee
30% of the winning bid or purchase price, or 2,000 yen, whichever is higher
* A minimum fee of 2,000 yen applies even for small transactions due to fixed costs incurred for cancellation processing, including contacting/negotiating with the seller and administrative tasks.
(2) Penalties or Fees Charged by the Seller
If a cancellation results in a penalty, cancellation fee, or special charge from the seller or store, you will be responsible for the full amount.
(3) Compensation for Losses Due to Transaction Suspension (Rare Cases)
Only if a cancellation results in the suspension or termination of transactions between us and the seller, causing us significant financial loss, we may charge compensation based on the actual loss.
5. Important Notes
- An auction bid indicates an intent to purchase.
- Cancellation is at the discretion of the seller.
- If a seller-related charge is incurred, a handling fee of over 30% may apply.
- If a refund is issued, it will be the amount after deducting handling fees.
