Whether a lighter can be shipped internationally depends on its type, condition, and whether it can be safely disassembled.

❌ Lighters That Cannot Be Shipped Internationally

The following items cannot be shipped outside Japan under any circumstances:

• Used lighters (any type)

• Gas lighters (butane, refillable gas, disposable gas lighters)

• Lighters that cannot be disassembled

• Lighters with fuel remaining

• Lighters whose internal structure cannot be safely confirmed

These items are restricted by international aviation and shipping regulations.

✅ Lighters That May Be Shipped Internationally (With Conditions)

Only oil-type lighters (such as some ZIPPO-style lighters) may be eligible for international shipping if all of the following conditions are met:

• The lighter is new

• The lighter can be fully disassembled

• All flammable components are completely removed, including:

  • Fuel

  • Cotton

  • Wick

  • Flint (spark stone)

• After disassembly, the lighter contains no flammable materials

⚠️ Important Notes

• Our warehouse does not guarantee that every ZIPPO or oil lighter can be safely disassembled.

• Some models may be damaged during disassembly or may not be removable at all.

• If disassembly is not possible, the item cannot be shipped internationally.

Warehouse Handling & Inspection

• Our warehouse performs a visual and safety-based check only

• We do not:

  • Test functionality

  • Confirm internal structure before disassembly

  • Guarantee international shippability before arrival

Final shipping eligibility is determined after the item arrives at our warehouse.

• If an item is found to be non-shippable internationally, you may only:

  • Ship it within Japan, or

  • Dispose of it according to regulations

• Cancellations after order placement may not be possible and may incur fees, depending on the seller
